This Glass Railing Gate Mount Kit is a unique item assembled by Babysecure that takes the mystery out of installing a baby safety gate to glass railings. Looks so good you would not realize it was something added to your railing.
- Kit consists of 1 wood Gate Mount, (size 3/4"D x 1 1/2"W x 36"H) and 2 Glass Clamps made of zinc metal. (The Gate as pictured is not included)
- The inside surface of the Clamp is completely covered with a non skid rubber gasket which will secure the Clamp from slipping as well as prevent any scratching of the glass.
- When your gate is no longer needed, remove the Clamps and there will be no sign there was anything there.
GLASS THICKNESS SIZE: Choose, MED 1/2"(12mm), SM 3/8"(10mm) or LRG 3/4"(19mm) for thickness of glass. ( Note: black SM 3/8" and LRG 3/4" Clamps are only available in stainless steel metal and therefore a greater cost. Custom Ordering requiring extra time and shipping costs may apply.)
GATE MOUNT COLOUR: Choose from Natural Wood, Stained Black, Brown or White.
CLAMP COLOUR: choose Brushed Nickel or Black Clamps are also available in Polished Brass, Gold Plated, Chrome, Satin Chrome or White in Med & Sm Size. It is necessary to Custom Order these other colours and may involve added time, different price and delivery costs. Contact Us for this personalized ordering.
SEND PICTURES: Before you order, best to send pictures of your opening and the gate you plan to use. We can get back to you to confirm that the Kit will work or if there are details which you may not realize are factors for safe installation. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- The Kits are not preassembled. The position of the Clamps can be adjusted anywhere up or down the Gate Mount to work around handrails, moldings or glass footings.
- The Gate Mount can be cut to a required height and for safety it should be, so nothing sticks up over the top clamp.
- The depth of the Gate Mount fixed to the Clamps would make the installation surface come 1 1/2" out from the glass.
- If two glass railings come together at right angles, the Clamp needs 1/4" space to be able to be inserted between them. If there is no space then Contact Us for a different solution.
- Kit contains what is needed for one side of the gate. If you have glass railing at both sides, you will need 2 Kits. It is also recommended to get an extra clamp for the hinge side Kit. Contact Us to make arrangements.
GATE CHOICE ? In almost all cases and especially with Glass Railings on both sides of the opening, the only Gates that have the fixtures which are versatile enough to work with the orientation of the Glass Kit, are the Delux Angle Mount, Angle Mount Beechwood, Bamboo Wood Angle Mount, the Crystal Clear Mounted or the Mahogany Wood as also found on this site and available through Babysecure.
WALL SIDE: When the other side of the gate is being installed to a wall, where a stud is not found or there are baseboards, for safety and ease of installation use a Wall Gate Mount
