The GateMate is a U shaped channel fitted to under the bottom threshold bar of the inner doorways in Walkthrough Pressure or long width gates (Construct A Shape or Hearth gates). It prevents the bar from scuffing the floor and rubberized-like treads also help to give some stability to keep the gate from moving. There is a “glow in the dark” feature to alert sleepy parents to avoid tripping over the threshold bar at night time.
