Avoid tripping over the threshold bottom bar of the inner doorway of a Walkthrough or Wide Gate. Instead of the blunt square bar, this step plate creates a ramp. Installs by lifting the gate up and sliding down into the U shaped channel of the Step Plate. Get two... one for each side if you want. As with all Walkthrough Gates, not safe to use at direct top of stairways.
